Sweyn is a professional tattoo artist with over 20 years experience, starting out in a small shop in Bury in 2000, he works in some of the country's best tattoo studios and alongside some internationally recognised artists.
Award Winning Artist
As well as being a regular UK convention artist where he was awarded several awards including 1st place in the Fantasy category - 2007/2008/2009 at Somerset Tattoo Convention, 1st place black and grey and also Best Of Show during this time, as well as participating in a still standing Guinness World Record at Tattoo Jam, Doncaster 2010.
His work has been featured in major tattoo magazines throughout his career as well as books on the subject of tattooing. His experience and expertise has been used by authors for novels making appearances on TV shows like BBC's Cutting Edge and a regular on BBC radio programmes.
In 2012 he decided to open his own studio in Ramsbottom as a custom studio, creating bespoke unique pieces of permanent body art for discerning individuals.

Devil's in the details
Although primarily known for his black and grey realism, especially wildlife, due to his eye for detail and texture, Sweyn also enjoys working with abstract forms of art and geometric concepts, as well as ancient Norse symbolism and imagery.
